Geology map
Scientists proudly divulged the first digital map of the earth’s geology. This is indeed a breakthrough as it could guide oil and gas exploration and mining or locate sites for burying greenhouse gases. The map exemplifies the world stripped of vegetarian, water, soil and human structures by combining the available data from the geological centers on the internet. The mapping project done so far covers about 70% of the globe as all the countries have provided their data for free of cost.
